Finding Hubby
Bi-Husband!
This movie is a Nigerian romance drama, based on Oyin clegg and her friends who were in search of an husband.
Main Characters:
ADE LAOYE as Oyin Clegg
MUNA as Gloria
EFA IWARA as Adefemi Omotosho
KEHINDE BANKOLE as Toke
CHARLES ETUBIEBE as Ossy
MECHANICS OF THE MOVIE:
Direction: I think the only actor that needed more work was the gigolo guy who turned into a waiter. The guy couldn’t speak well. His H factor wasn’t sound enough. The scene looked rush, looking like after how many takes, ‘Oya make we leave am like that.’ Well, asper Nigeria, were the uneducated gets to work and the educated ones wander about on the streets looking for jobs. The narrative should change.
Cinematography: 6/10
Editing: 6/10
Writing: I like the script but few characters weren’t developed well. The Gigolo guy, the Albino guy.
Soundtrack: I don’t really have any problem with the choice of songs.
Can women actually be so close and not fight over a man? God should not allow ‘My Ossy’ to pass away. The character, ‘Oyin Clegg’ was not smart. Kester Jacobs was too perfect and.....hey, no spoilers.
I like Adefemi Omotosho, he really did Oyin dirty. Many ladies deserve something like that, una cup just never full.
I’m tired of seeing Tina Mba with the same character. She must always disturb her girl child to get married by force by fire. The silly advise she gave Oyin at the end, my liver almost left it’s place.
Moral Lessons:
1) Always ask God to help you ‘Shine ya eye’ so as to see the good husband that has been on your contact list, your place of work etc.
2) Look yourself first before you write list of the kind person wey you wan date/marry.
3) You fit see your husband for club.
4) No be every fine man sabi speak English.
Rating: PG18.
I will give this movie a solid 65%.
Enjoy!🍿
